Programs that have evolved from the working needs of cowboys

Western Equine in the United States

The western equine program provides young horsemen/women with the opportunity to gain experience with world class horse farms and training facilities, mainly in the western United States. CAEP has a variety of equine hosts that are competing internationally in Western equine disciplines. Training in the equine industry is very demanding and requires a participant that is very dedicated to this field. Hours can be long and demanding, and placements typically work 6 days/week.

"CAEP gave me a great chance… my knowledge about wine making is really improved. I think without an organization like CAEP, it would have been very difficult to get a visa and a great job like the one I found."
